Mr. Magoo
I have a sister who is a year and a half younger than me. My sister turned 16 her senior year. She turned eighteen the year they changed the legal drinking age to 21. At 12 she physically matured and was promoted to my class in the sixth grade. We were in the same middle school classes and then high school and for reasons I don’t understand ( probably our parents.) we went to the same college for our freshman year in Wheeling, West Virginia and then like twins going so far as to transfer to the same college in Baltimore, Maryland. My sister took five years for her education degree. I however managed to finish in four years with a degree in writing, art history and photography.
By the chance of my birth-date and being small enough to repeat kindergarten twice, once in California and once in Virginia, I turned 16 my sophomore year of high school. I drove my sister to high school in a green toyota landcruiser for three years. My sister went to our ten year high school reunion and one of our teachers asked my sister how her sister, Michelle, was doing, then someone else piped in to ask if my sister was still with her boyfriend who drove her to school everyday in that green toyota landcruiser.
